Today was pretty busy and actually I'm still working, updating the store with new products while I edit this post and watching the game lol. Anywhooo. Here are some pieces I finished today I love these. Been pretty much sewing all day. Sorry these where taken by my phone so the quality isn't that great, but better quality pictures will be on the website and these will be available for purchase.

 

 This dress is called "wood grain" my original design didn't come out how I liked it, but this is better anyways

 This is a unisex tee from a company I might start carrying they have artsy graphic tees for men and women.


On another note I have been listening to this song called "My mine" by Jhene Aiko . She's cute like her sound.

Got another shipment today

Got a another shipment today! This time from Cubannie Links! Annie (designer of Cubannie Links) has also supplied me with two pairs of earring to give away at the launch party April 2th at Avant Garden. I have been going full force for the online store. Designing, sewing, planning, and spending $$$. I have found myself swimming in a sea of mixed emotions which includes excited, frightened, exhausted, etc. Overall this is my passion no matter how hard it gets. If I give up now then what? I know I haven't updated the blog as much as I used to, but please forgive me I'm working hard to supply everything I ever promised you. Well I don't have much time, so here are a few pics .

I want these!

I'm not sure what the name for these are, (didn't feel like looking it up) but I want them simply because they used my favorite color "Citrus Custard" I used this color on the Random Identity website. Also it's in the same color and fabric that I want to reupholster my office couch. 

Here is the swatch of the same color and fabric I picked for my couch...color looks a little dead here, but its really a vibrant color.

I hate when I find out I have been deprived of good music!

Ugh this is the same thing that happened to me with Little Dragon. This is the band Portishead. They are an English musical group from Bristol. Portishead consists of Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons, and Adrian Utley. They have been around since 1994! and I am just learning of this band in 2011!! smh anyway they are amazing and I pretty much like anything from them check them out below this is the first song I heard from them and was hooked.






This next video is from Massive Attack another Trip Hop band that I have been deprived of. This is the first song I ever heard from them. They have a lot of hits. Makes for good painting music.

I have been MIA but not idle...

Yes I moved again! This time a more permanent move. I moved near downtown and I love the artsy fartsy corky neighborhood. (fits my personality) The townhouse is older but well kept. As you can imagine I have many decorating ideas and have gone to countless home furnishing stores. I'm only showing a few pics because the house is not ready to be seen but I will definitely has a post of completed pictures.

LOL!! I tried to label what is being added *FAIL* basically rugs, art on walls, new sofa and love seat, chocolate curtains, and more books, art, and candles on the shelf. The floors are absolutely beautiful!

I took this from the dining room that I am transforming to a office, design, reading, wine sipping, relaxation room. *yea im curious of the outcome of this room too lol*



This is a pic from the living room you can see the hall that leads to the front door, kitchen and stairs on the left side of the hall way is a guest restroom with a sliding door, marble counter tops, and floors. There is also a storage closet. The lighting is beautiful and able to be dimmed. I did my research and found out that each light fixture cost about $100.00 WIN! lol

and the charming patio I will add lights for the great get togethers and dinner parties


Thats all I can show for now the second level of the house has two bedrooms both with their own bathrooms some storage and a little hallway space. There is also an attic that I am terrified of opening lol

In addition I am still in school the website is completed just dealing with the ecommerce side of it and decorating my new home. I promise to get back on my blog updates!!
