Have you ever listened to an up incoming rapper or singer and ended up stopping the song before it finished simply because it was horrible or just plan out unoriginal and boring?? Yea me too. But every once and a while I run into a refreshing artist that has such a cool sound that I turn into a instant publicist and stylist just because I know they will make it far with their talent.
Well once again I have ran into a refreshing artist, songwriter, producer, and actor! Yes all of that! His name is Ricquo Jones and he is one part of a band called Dakota Black that also includes band member Khadeem Major. The genre is electro alternative hip hop. The Hard Rock Café & 104.1 KRBE Teams up with SOLE Fresh in an effort to End World Hunger!

The Why Foundation has teamed up with the melodic duo, SOLE Fresh, to host a holiday, world hunger awareness, Showcase Mixer Houston, TX on December 18, at The Hard Rock Café.

The charity mixer also offer more than just performances; a model casting also took place to find models for SOLE Fresh’s music video in Houston.

Mannie Fresh, whom discovered the indie rock/hip-hop music duo, SOLE Fresh, has also been recognized globally for aiding in the development and musical productions of multi-platinum, Grammy award winning artist,

Lil Wayne.

“SOLE Fresh cannot be placed in a box, they represent a broad range of genres, from rock, to hip-hop, to pop,” Mannie Fresh said.

New Orleans natives Nardo and Knoxx, of SOLE Fresh, are

currently college freshman students at Tulane University with high energy and a passion for music, in all forms. Their debut album, “Peace

, Love, & Overweight Babies” produced entirely by super producer Mannie Fresh, is set to be released on March 2.

“We simply make feel good music, because that’s what our nation needs right now,” Nardo Jonze of SOLE Fresh said.

Their 1st single "Hero" is available on iTunes now.

Their debut album "Peace, Love, & Overweight Babies" will hit stores in March 2010. The Entire album is produced by Mannie Fresh.

Anticipating my Jeyfree custom ear pieces

I was soooooo not supposed to post a blog entry about this until I received them, but the anticipation is killing me. Jeyfree Has made me custom ear pieces that say random id and I think they look great. I haven't received them yet (their on their way) and I find myself looking at the picture she sent me of them every 5 mins lol. I had this vision that I would have this amazing blog post with me showing you the picture above, but them also having a picture of me wearing them. I simply could not wait to show them off.
