I always thought these were crazy!!

I always frowned when I used to see kids on leashes. I just felt like it was a way of having your kid without actually having to watch them since they were on a leash. It also looks horrible I don't care if its a furry teddy bear leash! I never see kids happy in those things. Well one kid probably had enough and was trying to challenge his mom. But I'm sure nobody thought that 37 year old Melissa Catherine Smith would actually continue with her day and DRAG her child in a verizon store. SMH YOUR CHILD IS NOT AN ANIMAL!! I'M PISSED! This is pretty disturbing...

These are disposable tape sunglasses by designers Azumi & David. They come on a roll like packing tape and are perforated for easy detachment. You just rip off a pair, slap them on your face, and PRESTO, everybody feels bad for you because it looks like you have a problem. I'm gonna put a roll in my purse. lol

This cartoon in the New York Post provoked some outrage from New York outrage-monger Al Sharpton today

The cartoon by Sean Delonas is a reference to the police shooting Monday of Travis, a celebrity chimpanzee who had gone berserk and seriously injured a woman.
In a statement, Sharpton said:
The cartoon in today's New York Post is troubling at best given the historic racist attacks of African-Americans as being synonymous with monkeys. One has to question whether the cartoonist is making a less than casual reference to this when in the cartoon they have police saying after shooting a chimpanzee that "Now they will have to find someone else to write the stimulus bill."
Being that the stimulus bill has been the first legislative victory of President Barack Obama (the first African American president) and has become synonymous with him it is not a reach to wonder are they inferring that a monkey wrote the last bill?
We at the Guardian America office in Washington don't get the humor, and I find the cartoon rather inane. It is worth noting that congressional Democrats wrote the bill, not Obama or anyone in the White House. If the conservative New York Post is calling Harry Reid, Max Baucus and Nancy Pelosi a bunch of monkeys, is that worth Sharpton getting worked up about?
Meanwhile, Sharpton has a long history of stoking racial grievances (The Guardian's Oliver Burkeman described him in 2002 as "Despised by many, accused of exploiting every whisper of police brutality, of rubbing salt into racial wounds and inciting protesters to violence".) Check out this history of the Tawana Braley case.
What do you think? Is the cartoon a racist shot at Obama? A crack at congressional Democrats? Is Sharpton over the line? Is it funny? Does it make any sense at all?

This is funny...

Ok so I can't sleep..so I log on Facebook and notice that 2 of my friends have old looking yearbook pictures on there. I seriously thought they were real until I clicked on it to take a closer look. LOL Well I saw the website at the bottom and went. www.yearbookyourself.com It is completely free and you can select what year you want. It goes from 1950 to 2000. I really wanted 1988 but none of pics looked good with it. (it had crimped bangs!! LOL!!!!!)It is pretty hilarious....I didn't do a good job on this one but you get the picture!
