Helping Haiti.....Let's get selfless!

Today I woke up with so many signs that I need to be a blessing to someone. God has done so much for me even though at times I don't feel worthy. With all that's happened in Haiti this was the perfect opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone of work ,work, and more work. sacrifice time, money, and energy. I actually pictured myself in their shoes. How would I feel? How would I handle seeing dead bodies laying around? Or missing friends and family. I honestly don't think I can really feel how the Haitians feel by just imaging myself there, but that is enough to step out and help. What have you done to help someone lately?

Stimulate Your mind - Tamayo Museum Contemporary Art

These are actual ads for the Tamayo Museum for Contemporary Arts in Mexico. The poster suggests the shock she must have got while viewing the art pieces in the Tamayo museum. Most might say the ad is gruesome and obscenely attention grabbing, but that is exactly what ads must do, grab the attention. I actually love this I don't think gruesome I think strong.

it suggests the museum seeks to “blow your mind” by shocking you with great contemporary art and also reach out to your mind’s need for something that is stimulating and also invigorating.

How do these ads make you feel?

Jay Z speaks on illuminati & devil worshiper allegations

So I was on Twitter and ran across a link to Nicole Bitchie. Jay Z finally speaks on the illuminati and the devil worshiper allegations. Ehhhh after reading this interview...I was still disturbed LOL!!! He chooses he words wisely. Hmmmm you really don't know how it started????

Jay-z spoke with Angie Martinez of Hot 97 about claims that he is a “devil worshipper” and part of a secret society:

“I don’t know where it started. I don’t know where it came from. I really think it’s really silly. For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don’t believe in religion. I don’t believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it’s one God. I think it’s all the same God, and I don’t believe in Hell. But as far as God, of course I believe in God. Am I a part of some sect or cult? That sounds stupid to me. It’s like ignorant to even say, and umm… I guess that’ll be the last time I address that. It’s ignorant to me”

I can’t even get in a golf club in Palm Springs. I’m from Marcy Projects. Just think about that? People that control the world?

Do you believe that those sort of organizations exist?
I think there are cliques of friends that control things. I don’t if there is a devil worshipping sect. That’s a little Tom hanks. I believ
e there are cliques of people that control the world…but that’s just natural process. I’m sure Obama has his people and everything is good but as far as how far people are taking it…

So you don’t intentionally do this to put people in a frenzy?
I’m an entertaine
r at the end of the day. Maybe I’ll push your buttons but you know…

While looking for a suitable pic of Jay Z I ran into this... LOL I hope this isn't real!

Watch Sade's Video- Soldier of love

Ok hmmmm I love you with all my heart but you scared me with the pale horse in the video reminds me of the pale horse in Beyonce's "Sweet dream"s vid...I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt....my close friends know what I'm talking about! Check it out HERE!!!

I almost bought these lol

I was at one of my favorite thrifts and ran into this! LOL! Authentic 80's retro style Barbies. I stared at them for a long time. The cashier thought I was pure crazy lol! It's weird I really don't care about Barbies I mean I'm not a collector or anything but comon...look at their attire! lol . Well I just thought about how FOOLISH I would look buying these and the thrill was gone, so I decided to take a pic so I could look at them like this.

Please Open Your Mouth!

I was on my friends website www.therealcompound.com and saw this. It gave me chills thinking that some people really don't reach out to abused children when they notice something isn't right. Please open your mouth!

Just a few things I ran into this past weekend...

So I went shopping this weekend...SIGH! at the mall. It really started off with me doing a good deed as a sister and take my sister who has lost touch of fashion due to her motherly lifestyle (lol) to the mall..I figured I start off easy with her and take her to the giant building that puts looks together for you on fake people (mannequins) and basically tell you "this is hot". Taking her to a thrift would have just overwhelmed her....besides I figured she will eventually get tired of seeing the same things and thirst for more on her own time. Anyways in the process I ended up falling for a few pieces that I will most likely regret purchasing because someone is going to be rocking it but o well I guess it happen sometimes.....only sometime plus I'm sure I will rock these different then most.

Wore this with a black blazer, Grey jeans, black leather flat boots, Grey shiny accessories, red lipstick, and CoCo and Breezy shades.

I have been rocking the hell out of these...peeps keep asking but I'm not telling lol!

Now I didn't buy this...THIS pissed me off.....I don't want to see a chick rock this...all I can think about is...under her straight leg jeans is a buttoned crotch! Yuck!!! lol!!
